A Teacher Is...
WE MAKE LOANS, TESTS, AND BULLETIN BOARDS
LECTURE, DEMONSTRATE, AND GET GUM OFF THE FLOOR.
INVESTING OUR CAPITAL IN THE KIDS AND THE ROOM,
TRY TO INSPIRE THEM TO REACH FOR THE MOON.
ARRANGING, RE-ARRANGING IN WORLD CLASS TIME
WHEN THE COPIER BREAKS AND YOUR LAST IN LINE
IT’S NOT JUST FLOWERS WE FIX, BUT LIFE ON THE VINE.
REALITY IS, THERE’S NOT ENOUGH TIME.
TO PUT A RELEVANT TWIST ON A CASE STUDY
AND CENSOR THE NEWS SO IT’S NOT TOO BLOODY.
DIFFERENTIATING SO NO CHILD IS LEFT TOO FAR BEHIND
AND ADJUST TO THE STANDARDS TO BE IN LINE
WITH A FOUR-PART PLAN OR ANOTHER GAPSS STUDY.

WITH REALITY OUR SOCIETY MUST LEARN TO DEAL.

TALKING TO PARENTS WHILE JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS AND RAISING BAR
MAKING AYP, PASSING EOCT’S, ENSURING THEY’LL GO FAR
CULTIVATING, LISTENING AND HEALING
TELLING THE TRUTH
(DON’T HURT ANYONE’S FEELINGS!)
THOUGH SOME IN OUR FIELD HAVE FORGOTTEN THAT FACT
WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR REPUTATION, YOU WON’T GET IT BACK
IT’S A SACRED TRUST THE PUBLIC HAS IN THOSE WHO “CAN’T DO”,
ONE THAT SHOULD BE CHERISHED BY THE CHOSEN FEW.
EDUCATE COMES FROM THE WORD EDUCE

Oh - how we miss you Grandmother! Christmas was not the same without you...we know you are celebrating your first Christmas at your new home!

This is hilarious to me - Adam and Justin were OUT early while Jessica and I stayed up late just to catch up!
Tripp is going to be such a big brother to sister ______ (Jessica has not made it know to many what her name with be) in March. He was all about helping - giving her the paci, patting her head...so sweet!
