Our house was the "event location" for Becca's high school graduation party. A great time was had by all - wonderful food, memories, and laughter was shared by family and friends!

There was a chance of rain so we put all the tables on the front porch...we were glad we did because it poured!

Becca received so many wonderful presents. All of her gifts will take her in the next stage of life...computer, money, apartment necessities, jewelry, cash

Becca got a new car from her parents (with a HUGE pink bow)! She was totally surprised!

D made Kimber a frame for her first swing and to say Kimber loves it is an understatement! Kimber just giggles and smiles while she is swinging!

What Southern Belle does not like a good swing on a front porch?

For Christmas D made me a plantation swing for the front porch. Just this month we go around to hanging the swing. We were able to get a twin mattress from my Grandmother's house - I know my Grandmother would have loved this oversize - 4 person swing! The three of us have spent many mornings and afternoons just relaxing together on the plantation swing!

This morning Momma, Daddy, Kimber and I headed to visit with Nana and Pop. Oh...they just love to visit with Kimber! As Nana said, "a child makes life start over"!

Kimber attempted to feed herself for the first time tonight...sweet potatoes! I must say that she did a fairly good job of making a mess but, hey isn't that what being a baby is all about? She did get some of the food in her mouth. This pink bowl is a "new-must" it suctions to the table therefore, Kimber was unable to pick it up, dump it out, throw it...

I must admit that we have been very fortunate that Kimber made it past 6 months before she had her first cold. Adam took her to her doctor's appointment this morning for her 6 month check-up and the doctor was more concerned with her cough. Doctors do not recommend that children under the age of 5 be prescribed a decongestant instead they want the patient to be on a nebulizer. It was an interesting week! I think the noise of the nebulizer was more of Kimber's fear but, by the end of the week she was a "pro".

We headed out to Sara Anthony's new studio in Serenbe for Kimber's 6 month photos. Sara is so very talented. We cannot wait it see the finished product!

Kimber did great! The session lasted about an hour...and she let us know when she was over it!
