...alot like Christmas

Saturday, November 27. 2010

Our home has been decorated for the Christmas holidays!

I have all the gifts wrapped and under the tree - Kimber has helped unwrap several gifts and she uses the boxes to help her climb by standing on the gift!

Kimber loves to look at the ornaments and move the gifts around.

OH! How I just love to go to Aunt Pam and Uncle Jimmy's for Thanksgiving (or any holiday for that matter that Aunt Pam cooks). We had a great time...and left so very full and with lots of left-overs!

Anual Friend Thanksgiving

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

We hosted the annual friend Thanksgiving - going strong every Wednesday before Thanksgiving for eleven years (11 years!...holy cow it has been THAT long since we graduated high school). Everyone always has fun catching up, playing games, and eating...it is getting more interesting since many of us have children.

Having fun!

White's "Anti"-Thanksgiving

Tuesday, November 23,2010

We headed to the Donald and Amanda (and Emily) White's house for the "Anti"-Thanksgiving celebration...you could not bring any food that was associated with Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time starting the Thanksgiving week off with Mexican food and Coach and Skinner playing the guitar and singing!

Kimber enjoyed the show.
She would clap, dance and sing along.

Santa

Sunday, November 14, 2010

We headed to Serenbe for Kimber to see Santa. Sara Anthony was holding a photo shoot - I will let the pictures tell the story!

Kimber seems excited to see Santa...

Momma trying to talk her into liking Santa...

ummm...she sees that he is not "hiding"

she does not like the thought of this...

AHHHHH!

So, if she is going to cry let us just let her cry while Santa is holding her...

Happy 1st BirthDAY

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

I had the day off and Adam took the day off so we could celebrate with Kimber on her 1st birthday! We had such a wonderful and busy day!

Took one-year pictures!

Ummm...one year pictures are not as easy as the previous. She was a ball of energy. Kimber had a melt down in the field as we were taking family pictures. And as she "melted" down she wallowed in deer poop in her beautiful cream corduroy outfit.

Ate lunch at Panera

The Andersons and Westbrooks came over with a smash cake for Kimber!

This was right after Kimber "found" the bathroom door opened and played with her two pacifiers in the toilet bowl...lovely just lovely.

I set the table with China (this is the first time we have used our China) to celebrate Kimber's special day! Grandparents were invited to come over to help make memories with us.

Happy Birthday to YOU!

The tradition continues...one present for each month!
Gifts #1-12 with a special note for each.
Reading her new book

Grand and Poppa.
Thank you for celebrating with us!
Sweet Baby!
